Owning a timeshare or thinking about buying a timeshare means you’re inevitably going to spend some time packing suitcases, which we all know isn’t always the most fun. Actually, it can be a bit stressful. It’s hard to make sure you’ve got all the things you’re going to want while on vacation, and most importantly, have them arrive safely. Here are some travel tips we’ve put together to make packing for your Vallarta and Nayarit timeshare vacation as quick and painless as possible:
1 – Start your packing list a few days before take-off. Having a packing list is always a good idea, but it’s an even better idea to start one at least a few days before you plan to leave. This gives you time to plan outfits and think of the things you’re going to want to take with you. It also gives you a chance to think hard about what you really need to take with you, and what can be left at home.
2 – Roll your clothing. Rolling your clothing will always allow you to fit more in your suitcase than if you were to simply fold it. Just iron it out once you arrive! It’s also always a great idea to slide belts into shirt collars to keep them stiff, and to stuff shoes with folded socks to preserve their shape.
3- Only bring toiletries that are absolutely necessary. Leave the full-size bottles at home; it’s easy to buy what you need once you arrive. For toiletries that you absolutely need, be sure to double bag them and pack them in a way that keeps them safe from spilling out and onto your clothing – that’s never a good time.
