For those who love taking pictures of beautiful places, Vallarta-Nayarit is an incredible destination for you. Whether you choose to own timeshare in Puerto Vallarta or in a neighboring town, you can be sure that you will have plenty of time to get some of the best shots of your lifetime.

There are so many different places and occasions for photography, that this place can truly be considered a paradise for photo lovers and timeshare owners alike. From finding places for that perfect sunset picture to hikes through the jungle to beautiful waterfalls that are picture-worthy, you will never run out of gorgeous scenery.

Following are some reasons why you will want to make sure to pack every camera that you may possibly own, including your phone, digital camera, and GoPro:

  • Freediving tours: Whether you take a course and get certified during your time visiting your timeshare in Vallarta-Nayarit or you are already a certified free diver, you will want to be sure to bring your underwater camera with you to capture the incredible marine life that is abundant in this area.
  • Whale-watching: This is one experience where you will want to be sure to bring a camera. During whale season, you can expect to catch amazing glimpses of humpback whales breeching the water. It is a sight that will leave you breathless as you see it happen, but just imagine getting it on camera?
  • The ocean: You will most likely be able to capture amazing pictures of the ocean, whether from your timeshare apartment or as you explore the area. Because much of the Vallarta-Nayarit landscape has hills, you will have some incredible views from above that make for incredible photographs.
  • Islas Marietas: Maybe you have seen pictures of this island that seems to have had a big chunk taken out of it where a beautiful “hidden” beach is found. While the best pictures of las Islas Marietas may be taken from the air, you can still get some fabulous pictures on a tour to this famous spot and prove to your social media followers that you have been to this exotic destination.
  • Colomitos Beach: It may be difficult to get great pictures at the beach if you happen to visit Puerto Vallarta in high season when tourists seem to cover the sandy beaches. One place where you may get lucky and have more privacy while also having a beautiful oceanic background is Colomitos Beach, a charming little beach that can only be found by hiking through the jungle or by taking a water taxi. It’s worth a visit for any photo lover who is willing to take a hike to get a good picture.
