Closing Day Amdetur

The 22nd of June was the last day of the AMDETUR Convention 2017, that took place at the Sheraton Buganvilias in Puerto Vallarta.

As was to be expected and what had happened the two previous days, the closing day received hundreds of people who wanted to get to know more about the timeshare industry and the Industry of Vacational Property in Mexico, for the beginning of sessions starting at 9:30 a.m.

The first topic that was touched on was the Regional Perspective of Tourism, where Alvaro Garciarce Monraz was the moderator and which had the Secretary of Tourism of the State of Jalico, Jesus Enrique Ramos Flores and the President of the Office of Visitors and Conventions of Rivieria Nayarit, Fernando Gonzalez Ortega, and the Director John McCarthy Sandland as panelists, and that had a question and answer session at the end.

Afterwards, there was a Panel “New Focuses of the Industry of the Vacational Property,” sponsored by Concord and where the moderators were the Engineer Gerardo Rioseco Orihuela, Vice President of Provac-Grupo Posadas.

The panelists were Alejandro Zozaya, President of Apple Leisure Group, Alejandro Martín General Director of Palladium Travel Club, el Ing. Luis Lara González, General Director of Travel Smart VIP Vacations, elLic. Marcos Agostini, Vice President Executive of Global Sales and Commercial Development in Interval International, and Mr. Antonio Riera, Corporate General Director Sirenis Hotels & Resorts.

After the panel, the AMDETUR-BBB was signed with Mr. Bernardo Altamirano Rodriguez, Founder and General Manager of the Better Business Bureau.

Finally, the Closing Ceremony was celebrated in front of hundreds of attendees, officiated by Jorge Herrera Rivadeneyra, president of the Board of Directors of AMDETUR.

And so the Yearly Convention of AMDETUR finished, in which a special date was represented, as the 30th anniversary of the institution, and where Puerto Vallarta became the center of an event that for three days united many students and hundreds of people interested in the Industry of Vacational Property in Mexico.
