Rainy Days Don’t Need to Go Away in PV

You’ve heard the tune, “Rain, rain, go away, come again another day.” Sure, going on vacation to a gorgeous beach destination where you will stay in a luxury timeshare resort and seeing the rain pour down may not be your idea of fun. Think again. While you do hope for sunny days on your trip-which you will most likely have-a day of dark clouds shouldn’t put you in a bad mood.

Following are some of the things that you can do when the rain keeps you away from the beach and sunbeds:

  • Go read books at a local café. From A Page in the Sun to Los Mangos Library, there are several places where you can go for a day spent reading your favorite books. After all, is there really anything better than spending time with a book in hand while the rain pours? Cozy.
  • Visit the local museums if you’re a culture buff. If you’re in the mood to learn more about the area and Mexican history, you may appreciate the idea of exploring local museums. When the sun’s out, you may prefer to be outside enjoying outdoor activities. When the rain pours, check out the Puerto Vallarta Naval Historical Museum or Museo Manuel Lepe.
  • Hang out at your beautiful timeshare resort with your family. Many times, when one goes on vacation, as much as they may love their luxury lodgings, they may spend a lot of time outdoors. That makes sense, but when the rain is coming down hard, you may want to spend some time enjoying the resort you stay at. Play board games with the family, pull out the deck of cards, or get cozy and watch some of your favorite films.
  • Get a relaxing spa treatment. You’re here to relax, right? You may not be able to get outside and enjoy sunbathing, but you can do something better. Go book that spa treatment you’ve been wanting. A relaxing massage with the enchanting sound of rain falling is the perfect remedy to a rainy day.
  • Take a Spanish class or go to a yoga studio. If you have a hard time sitting still and waiting for the rain to end, don’t. Simply find a yoga studio to go practice or take a Spanish class to learn something new. There is always something to do in Puerto Vallarta and learning a new skill is a perfect way to enjoy a rainy day.

It doesn’t rain often around here, but if it does during your stay at a Puerto Vallarta timeshare, consider the above options to keep you entertained.
