A total of 32 promoters from Puerto Vallarta and Banderas Bay participated in a 20 hours course that is endorsed by IDEFT.

This Wednesday, June 6th, the closing of the fourth course organized by the Association of Developers and Promoters of Timeshare A.C was carried out, with the aim of professionalizing promoters working with the different companies affiliated with the agency.

The awards were presented by Mr. Luis Ángel Cantú, Executive President of the association, Alejandro Lemus, Vice President, and José Luis Toca, Project Director of the Sheraton Buganvilias Hotel. The vice president gave a welcome message, noting that the timeshare industry, with more than 35 years of practice in the port of Vallarta, has one clear objective: to turn them into the best vacation consultants.

Alejandro Regino Torres, the course facilitator, and Luis Joel Meza, representative of IDEFT, offered the course with curricular validity. "Knowledge is not bought, it is obtained. Investing in human capital is one of the best decisions that organizations such as ADEPROTUR can make," said Meza.

The course was titled: Integral human Development to Offer Service Quality, and some of the topics that were reviewed as part of the program were: self-knowledge, collaborative intelligence, quality and emotional leadership. "Promoters who properly understand the emotion of what it means to vacation, have this awareness that leads them to have the ability to offer the ideal package to each of the tourists who visit us," said Regino.

ADEPROTUR will continue with this type of training, since the goal is to certify more than 500 promoters as vacation consultants. According to Vice President Alejandro Lemus, the purpose is to: “enrich knowledge and professionalize in a sector that today is one of the largest in the tourism industry.”
