One of the many fantastic things about Puerto Vallarta and the Riviera Nayarit is the fact that there is almost always something going on. Visitors can come to the city at any time of year and never run out of things to do in Puerto Vallarta. However, there are some specific events that stand out among the rest:

Whale Season: There are few places in the world that offer such intimate whale watching experiences such as Banderas Bay. Every year, Humpback whales migrate into the bay from up north to mate and give birth to baby whales! The season extends from the second week of December through to the end of March. It’s the perfect time to book a stay at your timeshare in Puerto Vallarta or Riviera Nayarit!

Free Malecon Sculpture Tours: Yup, you read it right – free! Created by Galería Pacifico owner Gary Thompson, embark on an educational tour down Puerto Vallarta’s iconic Malecon to learn all about these marvelous works of art. Join Gary on Tuesdays at 9:30am at the “Millenium” sculpture next to Hotel Rosita on the North end of the Malecon, or on Thursday evenings at 6:00pm in front of Galería Pacifico to enjoy a sunset sculpture tour.

The Southside Shuffle on Basilio Badillo: From the middle of November through to the first week of April, every other Friday holds a special place in our heart. Visit the Old Town district of Puerto Vallarta and make your way to Basilio Badillo for a fun night of shopping and shuffling! You’ll find galleries, boutiques, pottery, jewelry, beach wear and so much more while you enjoy cocktails, live music and meeting new friends! Dates for the Shuffle in 2019 are January 11 and 25, February 8 & 22, March 8 and 22, and April 5th.
