The Riviera Nayarit welcomed six luxury travel agents from the United Kingdom as part of the entity’s promotional efforts in Europe. The agents visited the destination’s signature attractions as well as its top-notch hotel infrastructure.

The agents were convened by Aeroméxico, which connects London with this region, in a fruitful collaboration with the Riviera Nayarit Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB) and the Puerto Vallarta Tourism Trust (Fidetur).

“The Riviera Nayarit is of great interest for the European tourist, who seeks not only sun and sand but also a unique experience. The goal of the FAM trips is to extend the promotional efforts towards markets that are both important and constantly growing, as well as foster diversification towards our destination,” said Marc Murphy, managing director of the CVB and the AHMBB.

DMC Maritur transported the agents during their stay to the Riviera Nayarit’s main attractions, including the Islas Marietas and the Magical Town of Sayulita. They also performed site inspections at prestigious luxury hotels such as the Grand Velas Riviera Nayarit, W Punta de Mita, and Four Seasons, and enjoyed recreational activities in Nuevo Vallarta.

By the end of their visit, the group left enchanted by the essence of the Riviera Nayarit, a luxury destination that retains the traditional features of its 23 coastal villages and the charm of its natural landscapes, combined with a premium hotel infrastructure and high-end services.
