The first 12 days of the month are host to processionals through the charming cobblestone streets of Puerto Vallarta’s historic downtown towards the Our Lady of Guadalupe church. December is also a wonderful time to visit Vallarta ● Nayarit because of the delicious foods served during the Christmas season, like Rosca del Reyes (a round, sweet bread), tamales, Christmas punches and a beautiful stuffed pepper dish called Chile en Nogada.
