Grupo Vidanta announced “Unveiling the Extraordinary,” a series of spectacular attractions and projects that will revolutionize Mexico’s tourism industry.

The good news keeps on coming to the Riviera Nayarit, courtesy of Grupo Vidanta, the leading developer of resorts and tourism and entertainment facilities in Mexico and Latin America. The company announced a series of spectacular attractions in the Destination and new projects that will revolutionize the country’s tourism industry.

In “Unveiling the Extraordinary”—with two videos in English and Spanish presented by Hollywood star Brooke Shields and Mexican actress and hostess Jacky Bracamontes—Grupo Vidanta displays its resorts’ exceptional luxury. First on the list is Vidanta Nuevo Vallarta, located in Riviera Nayarit and selected as one of the Best Hotels in the world.

Information provided by the company indicates that some of the new attractions are already operating during the first phase, while others are under development and are expected to open next year.

Extraordinary attractions

The first attraction is Beachland, an oasis with wooden walkways surrounded by greenery, breathtaking ocean views, open-air restaurants, lounge areas, and refreshing swimming pools. To achieve this, the resort completely transformed its beachfront right next to the Ameca River, creating an open space ideal for families to enjoy the beautiful sunsets over Banderas Bay.

Another incredible attraction is the SkyDream Parks Gondola, the first cable car in a beach resort in the world. It connects the entire Vidanta Nuevo Vallarta complex through a 6-kilometer-long circuit, linking the beach with the soon-to-be inaugurated water parks.

Then there are The Estates, setting a new standard in the hospitality sector “representing the utmost luxury, immersed in the most exquisite nature.” They feature exclusive swimming pools, a select choice of restaurants, and a world-class spa.

Grupo Vidanta has also ventured into the world of luxury cruises with Vidanta Elegant, the first Mexican luxury cruise ship, making the Group the first developer in the country to operate both on land and at sea.

VidantaWorld and its Dream Parks

VidantaWorld is the “icing on the cake,” the company’s largest project to date. This will be a spectacular theme park that will be a destination unto itself, comprised of three Dream Parks. With these, Vidanta promises to change the future of family vacations and revolutionize the entertainment industry worldwide. The first phase of VidantaWorld will open in 2022 and will feature a breathtaking world immersed in the jungle, a series of incredible attractions, dining experiences, and world-class entertainment, both day and night.

The following stages include a park with water attractions for the whole family, a space dedicated to Cirque du Soleil with a new show, and a park focused on adventure and nature.

The Riviera Nayarit on the international tourist map

The Riviera Nayarit is a big part of this bright panorama. With Grupo Vidanta’s new and spectacular attractions, the Riviera Nayarit has consolidated its position on the international tourism map.

“Vidanta Nuevo Vallarta offers sensational luxury immersed in nature, which is aligned with the concepts that Riviera Nayarit has always stood for,” said Marc Murphy, managing director of the Riviera Nayarit Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB).

“If anything defines this company, it’s its philosophy of constant innovation, always seeking to promote Mexico. That is why we’re pleased to celebrate and congratulate the group for all of its achievements,” he said.
