Aeroméxico makes Inaugural Flight to Puerto Vallarta From the New Felipe Ángeles International Airport

This essential tourist region will receive 4 new weekly routes from the Metropolitan Area of ​​the Valley of Mexico (CDMX).

During the flight's arrival, various authorities welcomed the travelers who arrived at the terminal in Puerto Vallarta.

This past Sunday, the first Aeroméxico flight from the new Felipe Ángeles International Airport (AIFA) landed in Puerto Vallarta, which aims to complement the demand for operations from the Metropolitan Area of ​​the Valley of Mexico to this vital tourist region of the Mexican Pacific.

On Sunday afternoon, the Puerto Vallarta International Airport also received travelers from the Santa Lucía Airport, which will have 4 weekly operations to this city, which are complemented by the 42 frequencies a week from the Mexico City International Airport, which now represents an increase of 1,584 new seats per month for the region.

The excited travelers who arrived in Puerto Vallarta from the recently inaugurated air terminal were welcomed by local representatives of the destination, who gave them different kinds of welcoming gifts.

Likewise, as is tradition, different Mexican folklore was present and a mariachi band received the visitors along with part of the crew of this flight, which represents one more opportunity for all visitors from the Metropolitan Zone of Mexico to visit the region, enjoy the beautiful, pristine beaches of the Mexican Pacific and endless experiences that can only be lived here.

Vallarta is a destination that has been key for Aeroméxico in recent years. These operations from the Santa Lucía Airport are added to the 42 weekly flights that we currently have from the AICM, reinforcing our commitment to tourism in the region, as well as allowing us to provide more, higher-quality travel options to our customers”, he highlighted. For his part, Luis Villaseñor, Director of the Puerto Vallarta Tourism Promotion Trust, assured that this inaugural flight "will allow travelers from the Metropolitan Area of ​​the Valley of Mexico to have one more option to come to Puerto Vallarta during the summer and enjoy the great benefits of the destination, its varied cuisine, its more than 50 outdoor activities, among many more experiences that can only be experienced here, but mainly, in a hospitable and warm environment”.

Puerto Vallarta continues with a prevalent tourist growth, demonstrating it once again in the last Easter season, in which excellent results were achieved that exceeded the numbers of 2019 prior to the pandemic and these new air routes to the destination are part of the success that will be had for the next seasons during 2022.
