This oasis of nature competes once again at an international level to become the best Botanical Garden.
The North American site USA Today once again places this botanical garden among its favourites thanks to its spectacular natural beauty.
Once again, the Vallarta Botanical Garden was nominated to compete as one of the most prestigious botanical gardens in North America by the specialized site USA Today and so far it is the leader in votes and the only one nominated outside of the United States. This is the fourth time that the Vallarta Botanical Garden is in this prestigious competition, even in the 2021 edition it was placed in the Top 4 among the winners along with other sites in the United States.
It is important to mention that the Vallarta Botanical Garden was ranked fourth in USA Today's 10 Best Botanical Gardens in North America list in 2021, only after the Botanical Cactus Garden in Henderson Nevada, the Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden, and the Fairchild Tropical Botanical Garden in Coral Gables, Florida.
With a daily circulation of close to one million copies and an even larger digital distribution, USA Today has a distribution comparable to that of the Wall Street Journal and the New York Times, which highlights the importance of the beauty that it has recognized in the Vallarta Botanical Garden for several years.
Voting can be done daily from any device (cell phone, tablet, or computer) and on different platforms during the next two weeks to place this oasis of nature among the best on the list.

This oasis of nature, located south of Puerto Vallarta, is a non-profit organization founded in 2004 with the mission of reproducing, studying, discovering, conserving, and exhibiting plants native to Mexico and the rest of the world. It extends over an area of around 38 hectares and is home to a vast diversity of Mexican plant species, including the most visited public collection of orchids in Mexico.
Additionally, it contains four greenhouses displaying local and exotic flowers from around the world, as well as vanilla, chocolate, and coffee; there is a museum, a rock collection, and a population of hummingbirds and other wild birds.
The Vallarta Botanical Garden is a charitable organization and since its foundation has been focused on the preservation of the flora and fauna of the region. This natural sanctuary is sustained through contributions and donations, to which various volunteers join and support the development of educational programs, and environmental awareness in the community, among other topics.
This oasis is the perfect setting for holding events, its impressive natural setting makes it ideal for any occasion, mainly for weddings, which has become popular considering the venue has an intimate chapel for a beautiful ceremony.
Likewise, important events have been held such as the Chocolate Festival, where more than 500 visitors gathered last January and the most outstanding products of the region were exhibited.
