Puerto Vallarta Has Successful Promotions in Monterrey, Nuevo León

Through different promotions, this tourist destination was promoted by important travel agents from Monterrey.

The Public Trust for the Promotion and Tourist Advertising of Puerto Vallarta had a successful day of promotion in Monterrey, where there was the opportunity to reach more than 450 travel agents from the state capital and neighboring states such as Coahuila, Chihuahua, and Tamaulipas.

It was on May 4 when Puerto Vallarta had an important presence at the seminar in Monterrey, which is a potential market for tourism in the city. As part of the marketing actions, it was present at the event "Jalisco is Mexico", promoted by the Secretary of Tourism of Jalisco and the OFVC of Guadalajara, where there were more than 40 travel advisors, who received different training on the benefits of the city.

In the said seminar, the commercial partners Imacop and Volaris were present, in addition to these hotels: The Westin Resort & Spa Puerto Vallarta, Marriott Puerto Vallarta Resort & Spa, Vamar Vallarta, Flamingo Vallarta Hotel & Marina, Las Palmas by the Sea, Velas Resorts, Hotel One, Fiesta Inn Puerto Vallarta, Hotel Rosita, Casa Carmen, Hotel El Pescador, Crown Paradise Club, Crown Paradise Golden, Secrets Vallarta Bay y Dreams Vallarta Bay.

In the training that the travel agents received, many aspects of the tourism in Puerto Vallarta were shared, including the promotions that will be implemented during the summer season, the more than 50 outdoor activities that the destination has for visitors, and the most important events such as the Vallarta Pride or Restaurant Week, among other topics related to tourism in the green pearl of the Mexican Pacific.

Likewise, the Puerto Vallarta delegation participated in the event of the Monterrey Regional Airline Association (ARLAM), in which the associated airlines were present: Air Canada, American Airlines, Copa Airlines, Delta-Aeroméxico, Latam Airlines, Lufthansa and United Airlines, in addition to other airlines that are not part of the organization such as Aeromar and Viva Aerobús, who managed to bring together more than 400 travel agents.

During the event held on May 5, there was a pavilion where the hotels of the destination showcased promotions to the attendees, listened to the questions and needs of the agencies, and promoted Puerto Vallarta as a tourist destination.

The wholesalers that attended the event were Euromundo and Megatravel, who have an important presence in Puerto Vallarta and presented very attractive packages with flights included from Monterrey, with rates starting at 5 thousand pesos per person.

Connectivity from Monterrey has had a significant increase in recent months; Currently, it has up to 5 daily direct flights and exceeds more than 80 monthly flights with airlines such as Magnicharters, Viva Aerobús, and Volaris.

During that week, Monterrey had a very busy agenda for the tourism industry with the Magnifest by Magnicharters, considered one of the most important consumer events in the region, in which Puerto Vallarta had great participation through its hotels, in which there were more than 91 modules of travel agencies, more than 20 participating lodging sites and an influx of 200 potential clients per hour.

Monterrey visitors travel at least twice a year and regularly go to beach destinations, with all inclusive hotels, which allow them greater comfort during their stay. Similarly, destination weddings from the region have increased, which has contributed to Puerto Vallarta remaining in the top 3 preferred places to get married.

Puerto Vallarta continues to constantly work on its promotion strategies to assertively reach its potential markets and thus ensure successful vacation seasons, such as the summer that is about to arrive, and generates high expectations throughout the tourism industry of the city.
