The Puerto Vallarta Zoo also features an air-conditioned snack bar for humans with light meals, snacks and drinks available. Because the zoo is located in the lush Sierra Madre jungle, insect repellant and sunscreen are recommended and are available at the gift shop if you forget to bring them with you.
