Two beautiful tourist destinations got fancy with an event in which around 73 wholesalers from Mexico, USA, Canada, South America and Europe met; airlines and 95 hotels that showed their offer and products to these idyllic paradises. It was the 26th edition of the "Puerto Vallarta-Riviera Nayarit 2020 Gala", which beganon February 17 at the Vidanta Convention Center.
Richard Zarkin, Public Relations Manager at the Riviera Nayarit Visitors and Convention Bureau said the region has grown exponentially and 20 hotels are expected to open in the next 5 years.
The Gala is an event with a great tradition given that it has been developing since 1993. It is very important, since approximately 1340 business meetings are held. In addition, the hotel sector and wholesalers formalize their winter-summer contracts 2020-2021 by 80%.
The event was attended by the respective tourism secretaries from both Jalisco and Nayarit, who highlighted the importance of the gala as it fosters, promotes and consolidates commercial relations and promotes the region as one of the most beautiful and sought-after in Mexico and the world.
