The Riviera Nayarit continues to reap accolades from around the world, and there are even more recognitions on their way even after its recent success at the 2020 Travvy Awards, where it received five statues for “Best Tourism Office – Mexico,” “Best Luxury Destination – Mexico,” “Best Wedding Destination – Mexico,” “Best Honeymoon Destination – Mexico,” and “Best Culinary Destination – Mexico.”
Mexico’s Pacific Treasure has it all: dreamy landscapes, spectacular beaches, and verdant mountains combined with a highly sophisticated hotel infrastructure—it’s the embodiment of luxury and nature.Below are some of the most recent awards received by the Riviera Nayarit in the month of May.
- 2020 FOUR AND FIVE AAA DIAMONDS. This year the recognitions were awarded to 15 hotels in the Riviera Nayarit in the areas of Nuevo Vallarta, Punta Mita and Punta de Mita, and La Cruz de Huanacaxtle, as well as eight restaurants located in Nuevo Vallarta and Punta Mita. The destination was recognized not only for the quality of its hotel infrastructure, but also for its gastronomy.

- FORBES TRAVEL GUIDE AWARDS 2020. The Forbes Travel Guide is the global authority in luxury travel, publishing reviews, recommendations, and content based on the luxury destinations it visits. Anonymous professional inspectors travel the world evaluating hotels, restaurants, and spas based on 900 objective standards. The emphasis is on quality of service, but tourist experience is key.
