It’s never been more fun—or comfortable—to discover the destination’s natural attractions, explore its culinary delights, tour elegant resorts, and get to know the secrets of Mexico’s Pacific Treasure.

From March 31st onward, the Riviera Nayarit has shared on social media all kinds of virtual tours, recipes and cooking tips, webinars, and tons of other activities with the hashtag #StayHomewithRivieraNayarit. The destination has also created informative webinars for both travelers and travel agents.

The Riviera Nayarit’s Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and YouTube followers are enjoying a new video each day of its coastal villages and other iconic places such as Bucerías, La Cruz de Huanacaxtle, Marina Riviera Nayarit, Marina Paradise Village, Mercado del Mar, and El Tigre Golf Club.

The Hard Rock Vallarta, Marival Distinct y Marival Emotions, Royal Decameron Complex, Reflect Grand Nuevo Vallarta, Paradise Village, and Decameron Los Cocos Guayabitos have also joined in with videos of their own. Chef Betty Vázquez, Culinary Ambassador for the Riviera Nayarit, has shared her recipes, while Mixology Ambassador Israel Díaz has shared his tips on the best cocktails.

Villa Group has shared gardening tips; Reflect Grand Nuevo Vallarta offers handicrafts; Capoeira Nayarit’s Gaspar de Abadá has given Capoeira tips; Tequila Basics have come from Grand Velas Riviera Nayarit; and Tom Stickney has shared golf tips from Punta Mita’s courses. Activities and events have included the production of “Faust” by the San Pancho Children’s Circus; San Pancho’s Entre Amigos Community Center; Vallarta Nayarit Gastronómica; and Day of the Dead in Sayulita.

The following videos are already scheduled for the next two weeks: touring San Blas with chef Betty Vázquez; “Midsummer Night’s Dream” from the Children’s Circus in San Pancho; cooking tips with Villa Group; virtual tour of Marival Armony and W Punta de Mita hotels; ecotourism activities in Vista Paraíso; the Polo Cup at La Patrona in San Pancho; Contemporary Huichol Performance; and much more.

A commitment to travelers

By offering options so they can enjoy the many experiences offered by the destination from the comfort of their own home, the Riviera Nayarit maintains its commitment to the safety of travelers while respecting the preventive measures in place due to COVID-19.

Marc Murphy, managing director of the Riviera Nayarit Convention and Visitors Bureau, highlighted that maintaining a continuous presence in the communication channels encourages travelers to visit the destination once the health crisis has passed.

“Dear traveling friends, we are facing a challenge that we will overcome together by working as a team. Together we will move ahead and when we do, we will be here waiting for you with open arms,” he said.

Remember, Mexico’s Pacific Treasure will be here when the COVID-19 health crisis is over. In the meantime:
