Dev Series PGA TOUR Latinoamérica Finale kicks off at Paradise Village
The golf tournament will be played from October 7 to 10 at El Tigre Club de Golf.
El Tigre Golf Club, located within the Paradise Village complex in Nuevo Vallarta, Riviera Nayarit, will host the grand finale of the Dev Series of the PGA TOUR Latinoamerica this Thursday, October 7. At stake in the tournament will be at least 20 men’s professional golf circuit cards for the 2021-22 season, with an estimated field of 84 players.
Golf director Steve Johnson said that this would be an excellent opportunity to showcase a course with the quality of design found at El Tigre. “We are excited to host the Dev Series Final. In addition to showcasing the quality of our facilities, we will be able to promote the stunning destination that is the Riviera Nayarit,” he said.
Players finishing in the top five of the Dev Series Final will secure exempt status for the entire 2021-22 PGA TOUR Latin America season, and Players finishing between sixth and 10th place will be exempt for the first part of the season. Players placed 11th through 15th, plus those in 16th through 20th and ties will receive two different conditional status categories.
The PGA TOUR Latinoamérica is a professional tour created in 2012 by the PGA TOUR in collaboration with promoters, clubs, and national golf federations in the Latin American region.
