PUERTO VALLARTA TRAINED MORE THAN 230 TRAVEL ADVISORS FROM THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA, USA.

During the roadshow: “Jalisco is Mexico”, Puerto Vallarta took the opportunity to make it’s greatness known.   

The Public Trust for the Promotion and Tourist Advertising of Puerto Vallarta continuously promotes the attractions of this key tourist destination, this time focusing on the travel consultants of the state of California, who received effective training that will help to encourage sales during the upcoming holiday seasons. 

 Los Angeles, Orange County, San Diego, Sacramento, and San Francisco were the US cities where more than 230 travel advisors were trained. This strengthened business relationships in the main international market for Puerto Vallarta, which is California. 

 As part of the “Jalisco is Mexico” roadshow, which was carried out in conjunction with the Secretary of Tourism of the state of Jalisco and the Guadalajara Convention and Visitors Bureau, specific training was carried out with travel specialists. The training emphasized the cultural and tourist benefits that encompass Puerto Vallarta, as the most authentic beach destination in Mexico, showing off its diversity in cuisine, its representative architecture, the wide range of activities it offers for all profiles of travelers, the combination of the modern and traditional, among other topics. 

 Additionally, Puerto Vallarta was presented as one of the destinations with the largest number of travel packages for all demographics, seeking to encourage sales for the coming fall and winter seasons, with which this city hopes to achieve figures of great tourism growth. 

 Puerto Vallarta currently has 148 monthly direct flights from Southern California during the high season, operated by 6 airlines that connect with Los Angeles, San Diego, and Santa Ana (Orange County), in addition to 154 monthly direct flights from Tijuana. 

 During the winter season, Puerto Vallarta also has 35 weekly flights from San Francisco, with Alaska Airlines and United Airlines, which connects Central California and provides a variety of options to visit the Friendliest City in the World. 

 During the training in California, important hotels participated, such as: Plaza Pelicanos Beach Club Resort, Plaza Pelicanos Grand Beach Resort, Sunset Plaza Beach Resort & Spa, Hilton Puerto Vallarta Resort, The Hacienda at Hilton Puerto Vallarta Resort, Krystal Puerto Vallarta, Barceló Puerto Vallarta, Las Palmas by The Sea, Hotel Rosita, Casa Carmen, Hotel Pescador, Buenaventura Hotels, Vamar Vallarta, The Westin Resort & Spa Puerto Vallarta, and Marriott Puerto Vallarta Resort & Spa. 

 In addition, there was the presence of important commercial partners such as: CBX (Cross Border Xpress), GOGO Vacations, ALG Vacations, Delta Vacations, Pleasant Holidays, Journese: Luxury Travel, Vacations For Less; as well as the airlines: American Airlines, Aeroméxico, and Volaris.
