The Puerto Vallarta International Airport continues toincreaseits air operations, recentlyinaugurating a new routeofthe Volaris airlinefromthe Felipe Ángeles International Airport (AIFA) whichwillhave a dailyflighttothistouristdestination in theMexicanPacific.
OnSeptember 21, Volaris carriedoutits inaugural flightfromthe Santa Lucía airportto Puerto Vallarta, receiving a total of 130 passengers. Withthis new flightoperating, Puerto Vallarta willaddanaverageof 5,220 monthlyseatsfromthe Felipe Ángeles International Airport, whicharrivesduringthefall and winter, twoofthemostimportantseasonsforthedestination and thatwillbenefitthegrowthwithintheairlineindustry and thecityitself.
Passengerswhoarrived at the Puerto Vallarta International AirportonSeptember 21 werereceivedby representatives ofthecity, whoprovidedalltravelerswithdifferentwelcome kits alludingtotheWorld'sFriendliest City.
As isthetradition in the inaugural flights, Mexican folklore waspresent and a mariachi receivedthevisitors and partofthecrewofthisflight, whichrepresentsone more opportunityfortravelersfromtheMetropolitanAreatovisitthisimportanttouristdestination.
