AMR™ Collection, a leading hotel brand management company in North America, part of Hyatt, with seven award-winning brands across Mexico, the Caribbean, Central America, Spain, and Greece, held its year-end cocktail party in Mexico to thank clients and journalists for their support and preference, where it announced the launch of Impression, the Secrets Resorts & Spas sub-brand, and the planned openings for the end of 2022 and throughout 2023.
Gonzalo del Peón, Group President for AMR™ Collection Americas & Global Commercial, highlighted that Secrets Impression Resorts & Spas is an extension of the Secrets Resorts & Spas brand, with a superior concept, with specific infrastructure and services that highlight luxury and exclusivity.
"These are independent hotels that we try to manage more selectively and privately, with a very strong investment in new hotels, hotels with an average investment of 500,000 dollars or more per room, only with suites, all with a boutique hotel concept," emphasized Del Peón.
During his presentation, Gonzalo del Peón pointed out that Secrets Impression Resort & Spas hotels are properties of no more than 200 suites of 100 to 500 square meters, which due to the high level of integrated services provided, will operate under the Endless Privileges concept, instead of the Unlimited-Luxury offered at Secrets Resorts & Spa, which will easily position them as candidates to hold the 5 AAA diamonds.
The executive informed that the first hotel with the sub-brand will be Secrets Impression Moxché Resort & Spa, which will open its doors on December 1st of this year in Playa del Carmen, next to the already-opened Secrets Moxché Resort & Spa -which started operations in Quintana Roo in May of this year-, which will have 14 gastronomic options, among them the signature restaurant with artisanal cuisine called Teodoro, which will offer dishes designed by a world-renowned master chef.
The second hotel to open will be Secrets Impression Isla Mujeres in March 2023 with 125 suites with exclusive catamaran arrivals at the hotel's private dock; three-level swimming pools with waterslides into the sea; signature dinners at the Spezia restaurant with artisanal Mediterranean cuisine; open-air cinema over the water with torch-lit cabanas, among other activities.
She also anticipated the arrival of Zoëtry Marigot Bay St. Lucia on December 1st of this year with 124 rooms; as well as Dreams Flora Resort & Spa with 520 rooms on February 15, 2023; Secrets Tides Punta Cana with 670 rooms that will open in the fall of 2023; Secrets Tulum Resor & Beach Club that will open on June 30, 2023, with 301 rooms, and Dreams Estrella del Mar Mazatlan Golf & Spa Resort with 358 rooms.
Yarla Covarrubias, AMResorts Commercial Director for Mexico, thanked the trust of investors, owners, clients, journalists, and friends who have believed in AMR Collection brands over the past 20 years.
"They opened the doors of their companies and gave us their vote of confidence. Thank you for these years of joint growth! I am pleased with the achievements we have made together, and also thank you to the media and journalists who have accompanied us on this journey and are with us today," he concluded.
The event was attended by Gabriel Felip, Group President AMResorts Global Operations of AMResorts; Sergio Rascón, Vice President of Development of Apple Leisure Group; Claudio Zboznovitz, Vice President of Global Sales & Business Development of AMResorts; Vice Presidents of Regional Operations, Vice Presidents and Finance Directors, Regional Sales Directors, General Managers and Sales Directors of the hotels.
